I know a lot of people don't like him, but man, I really like Russell Westbrook's fire.  Sometimes it causes him to play out of control, but you gotta love having a guy like that on your team.

That's what I really missed on the Celtics this year, without KG around (and honestly, KG has been too old and tired in recent years to be that way except once in a while).

If the Celtics end up drafting Marcus Smart, he could bring a welcome infusion of that.

I'm with you -- shocker -- but I think this whole Oklahoma team is playing to win, and playing to win hard.

Is it just me, or does Steven Adams have a really large head?

Well you couldn't make him an exact clone of Nick Collison -- that would be too suspicious.

Oh man, watching Durant go 1 on 1 and just burn Griffin just now was nasty.  Love the floater from 5-10 feet.

Bold Prediction: Steven Adams will get Griffin ejected/suspended at some point.

He's growing on me a little bit.  I don't love his decision making all the time, but his aggressiveness, explosiveness, athleticism, and intensity are just something else to watch.

They love to use the word "motor," and I've always kind of been like, what does that term really mean?

I watch Russell Westbrook play, and I think I've got the answer.  That's the definition of "high motor."

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Griffin never seems to get fully penalized for his bully personality on the court.  I understand that because of his size he gets battered and hacked constantly (just like Dwight and Shaq before him), but he also just seems like a spoiled brat out there a lot of the time.  "You touched me bro.  How dare you touch me."

You're not wrong, but motor is like 98% BS. It's almost always used to decry a player that doesn't look like he's playing hard enough for the analyst/journalist in question.

Yeah.  Rondo "stirs the drink" by doing crazy things with the ball, grabbing offensive rebounds, finding passing angles where nobody saw them, looking like he's in complete control.

Westbrook makes the Thunder go by simply putting everything on hyperdrive and tearing the fabric of spacetime.  He's never totally in control, but at his best he's never quite out of control, either.  He just looks like he's playing at a different gear than everybody else.

The Celtics got someone like that, Rondo.  ;)

My God, Kevin Durant is so much taller than Chris Paul and Darren Collison.

That's not really Rondo's style, though.  Don't get me wrong, he's as competitive and intense as they come, but he's all business on the court.  You won't see him screaming and pounding his chest and slapping the court.

I know that.  It's just really obvious when they put the smaller guys on him.  He's enormous, and he looks even taller because of how lanky he is.
