Bradley's criminally undervalued on this forum...
He's 23, is an elite defender as evidenced by his 2nd Team All Defense selection despite missing 20-30 games, has improved his scoring average every year, and is shooting 40% from 3 and 80% from FT. The league average from 3 is 37%, Avery has 2 years averaging above 40%.
It took Goran Dragic and Mike Conley 6 seasons to average what Bradley is in his 4th. He'll never be the distributor they are, but he's one of the best defenders at the deepest position in the NBA and he has shown glimpses of the promising caliber of player he can be. Few players can defend at an elite level, come off curls to knock down a mid-range, shoot 40% from 3, and have the timing to cut and finish at the rim as consistently as he does.
Imam Shumpert is half the player Bradley is, but he had (and still has to a certain extent) a legion of vociferous Knicks fans touting his value, talent, and potential and Avery's younger than him.
The opinion on this forum about Avery are disappointing and shortsighted. Most think he's not worth even a $6M per contract, but he's going to prove a good number of you wrong, whether it's in or out of Boston.
