in draft-i think he would by hook or crook get embrid or trade whatever for kevin love-remember when he put together the bird era what a collection of oddballs-joe barry carrol brought us parish, mchale and then bird upfront-i still remember the first time i saw mchale run up court ,add the chief it was like one flew over cuckos nest and then sleight danny ainge with too slow can't jump bird-what a collection  with dennis johnson and his freckles then from an earlier era  a  re head too short center dave cowens throwing himself all over the court like a guard or characters like satch sanders and cornbread maxwell-red might go for a too slow 6-9 guard or draft for some freaky wing wing span with atheletic ability and defense-red was a genius and  at times quite abstract but
how he could put a team together-

He would look for the next Michael Smith with the first pick, and the next Joe Forte with the Nets pick ;D

Seriously, Red was a genius but he must have been helped by the fact that a lot of the other gm's and owners were incompetent...worse than the worst that we have today.

Smoke furiously.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
