The minority who thought we were a playoff team ended up being completely out of touch and very very wrong.  The rest of us who figured this team would win around 27 ended up being on the ball.   At this point, the best outcome is more ping pong combos.

Not to cause trouble, but about a month ago you were the one proclaiming that we were going to go on this massive winning streak and make the playoffs. Our competition was just too weak and we were destined for greatness.

I realize you were probably just being contrary, but to throw yourself in with the 27 win crowd (which you may have at one time been) seems a little far-fetched.

LB loves his reverse jinx.

Not many folks talk about Vonleh. I am not going to be shocked if he goes top two,ie, Embiid, Vonleh. And I also think he might well end up being the best pro overall, when we look back. True superstar potential. KG like shooter who can go farther out.  I have soured on some of these others and I don't know how any of us can discuss Exum with any intellectual honesty.

If we end up with a big, I will be hoping against hope we try to get KG back to school the young man, or bring Cliff Ray back to coach him up.

Lol.  I think in this thread alone I've made it obvious I want us to lose the next 5... while also joking that I hope we close out the season with a healthy 5 game win streak so we can build a winning culture.

Before the season started, I think most of us had the team winning around 23-28.

My "we're on the verge of a massive win streak" is just a tired "sky is falling" routine.

As I write this, Orlando is up at half time, and we are losing by 8 in 2nd quarter. If that trend continues we will be tied with Orlando for 3rd worst record, which would greatly improve our chance of getting a top 4 pick.

Wow, intellectual dishonesty. That hurts. LOL

I would be shocked if Vonleigh goes top 5, but could see someone willing to take the risk. But top 2?  Nothing he has done this season would warrant that.  He has great measurements, but so did Pat O'Bryant.

I'm high on Vonleh as well... but top 2? Jesus.

This is why the "I'm not going to be surprised/shocked/startled/caught unawares before _______________(Insert unlikely event here)______________________" is 10,000% absurd.

I'm not going to be shocked if the world ends tomorrow. Even though, odds are, it won't happen, I won't be shopped.

You guys are way off topic.  We are about to lose again, and the Magic just won, so we are now tied for third worst record!!  Suddenly like our chances to get a top 4 pick. Have jumped from 47.7% to 58.6% odds of landing top 4 pick!!  One more one game swing over the last 4, and we outright third worse, a distinct possibility, giving us a 70% chance of landing one of:

Embiid
Wiggins
Parker (He will declare)
[Fill in the blank][Exum is my choice]

I am starting to get excited about the lottery, baby!!!

SUPERTANKER - M/T Celtics to dock after 5 games. Captain Ainge, First Officer - Stevens, Helmsman Rondo await further orders after docking;
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;
