It's about time.  Just swallow your pride everyone. You were great all season. No one can doubt your allegiance.  You stayed true all year.  You didn't root for tanking. Congratulations.

Back to the real world... We are just this close to a number 4 lottery position. Our team is very talented with a great coach and some real assets.

Would you like Wiggins?  Or embid?  You don't have to feel bad about being excited about those players.  You're still a Celtics fan.  And if you can't handle showing others that excitement, just quietly watch and smile, and knew that our team could be really good for a very long time.

I stopped watching the games at the All Star break. I can't make myself root for losses. Not built that way regardless of the goal. Ironically enough I actually plan to go to the draft this year so we'll see what happens but I can't watch this and I'm not happy about it.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

Exactly......

Danny ...alot riding on this draft........look how Mitch is panicking

Mitch is tanking the Lakers ......hard as he can go.....with Kobe and Magic Johnson's blessing......he is even ignoring the home crowd and holding players out right under their noses.

There is Zero reason to play our best players at this point.

Rondo knows the score ......

You want help to rebuild .....well here it is just a few games away .

I'm already numb to losing ........a few more an't going to do any more damage to our young teams morale........ ::)

Come on Orlando..... Get some wins baby.

I get it. Don't root for losses.

The draft seems like it will be a lot of fun this year. I'd love to hear what you think it'll be like. Is there a large C's contingent?

What's with the condescending tone? The kids may be good or they may not, but personally I can't bring myself to root for losses. What makes you so certain that they can get Wiggins or Embiid? The Celtics could slip down to 6 or 7 in the draft.

Not if we lose the rest of he game we won't.....only Winning hurts our chances .....

I don't think Danny will forfeit the NBA's. ...way to rebuild.......no other GM would toss this opportunity out the door ......the lotto it is so close......he can taste it now.

I'm not certain at all that they can get those players.  Nothing in life is a guarantee.  But I truly support improving our odds.

I am no less of a fan just because I think building through the draft is our best chance to get a ring.  Even if you like to win each and every game, you can still understand that draft strategy.

Just close your eyes, wait till the season ends, and then root for those lottery balls

While there is a chance they can catch up to Orlando, It's still slim. Even if they win a few more games, there's a huge chance that they'll wind up as the fourth worst record.

Wow wow, what a huge loss for us. Worst case scenario we lose two more. I'd be surprised if we won 3 of the next 5 games. Philly is an obvious one, we should win that one but what other game is winnable? Wizards and cats are solid/respectable teams as of late, the Hawks and cavs are fighting for playoff spots.

The next Philly game means a lot more to us than it does to them

We're not winning again. Last night and tonight was our best chance to win another game this season. We're gonna have to wait until next season to taste victory... or May20th.

Maybe, maybe not, like the draft the rest of the games are unpredictable.
