Tommy Heinsohn vs. the Rockets after Omri Casspi's wildly inaccurate floater sails into the stands.

There will never be a better announcer line than my favorite from 8ish years back.

Tommy: "Guarding Allen Iverson is like standing in an open window with no pants on."

I will never ever forget the reaction had by myself and my roommate when that line came through the television air waves.

Mike's enthusiastic "buries it" moments are great. ment more when we had Pierce and were contending.

"Well, I'm looking at the schedule here Tommy, and I don't see this team losing a game."

Bob Cousy during the first game he did commentary in 07/08. I think it was like the 2nd or 3rd game of the year, when they had the Big 3.

Like the one under my name to left!
After fiddling and diddling, then there was doodling and dawdling for the ball hogs.

He would call an acting job a "Stanislovsky" after the great Russian actor or dancer.

Johnny was the greatest.

I see you Dirk Nowitzki and raise you Bill Walton.

I've always enjoyed Jeff Van Gundy's random tirades and anecdotes.

and how about Kevin Harlan's "he just sucked the gravity right out of this building!" on Tmac's dunk on Shawn Bradley? that line got me pretty hyped. and yeah, i suppose the dunk did as well.  ;D

someone mentioned Mike Gorman's "buries it". i also like his "got it". i don't know how to embed a video so i'll just leave a link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bprdHg3hyDc
