Imagine the effect he will have on future stars that could come to BOS...

I truly believe that Rondo will make them better...

KLove will become a better player, defender - with Rondo...

That intensity...his quiet intensity...will rub off positively on his teammates.....it's even rubbed off on Kobe, lol:

I love it. We need someone to get under ppl's skin, and Rondo can/will do it.

I'm excited about BOS's future.

I don't know if "intense" is the right word, just because he's as susceptible to cruise control as anybody else.  The most intense players are still probably KG and Kobe.

He certainly is tough, though.  The dislocated elbow is stuff of legend.  Rondo's elbow probably elevates him above Larry Bird in the '91 playoffs and Paul Pierce coming back from getting his teeth knocked out.

Kobe , kg, noah are intense. Rondo is not as intense. He rarely shows emotion on the court. What a poor leader has been also. Chris johnson missed one of his passes earlier in the game and he starts shaking his head, yelling at him , instead of remaining positive and encouraging
Intensity is not all about emotion imo. Tim Duncan is intense and he doesn't scream and shout.

Plus that makes heaps of good players poor leaders. Positive and encouraging might work for school kids but when you're being paid millions of dollars you need to be told when you've messed up

Rondo has an even keel type personality. It's rarely up or down. Even off court. While he's not the best leader ever, you can't say that other leaders have never torn down a teammate. Remember KG making Big Baby cry? Or Jordan punching Steve Kerr?  You also don't know what happens in the locker room or on the plane. While on the court it's in the heat of the game, you don't know if later Rondo goes up to Johnson and talks to him.

Rondo is the type of personality that doesn't baby players, he expects everyone to play at his level. I remember that pass and Johnson should have had it. I was yelling at him.

The play when STD Wade pulled Rondo down and hyperextended Rondo's elbow made Rondo a Celtic Warrior in my eyes. I don't know if any other player in the league comes back into the game. The man is a leader in the only way that matters... on the court. He is prickly, but almost every great team has that edge, has that toughness. He sets the bar high and will not accept less than 100% effort.

We all want the C's to fight for championships. Rondo is one player that can lead us there.

Forgotten and swept under the rug by many.

TP for reminding us.

Rajon Rondo is the reason why I follow the Celtics. That along with Sullinger and Bradley.
