I think you guys are missing the bigger clue here.

Joel Anthony ain't going nowhere.  So if you were hesitant to go out and buy that #50 Joel Anthony jersey because you were concerned he’d be traded in the offseason, well worry no more.  Wyc basically just confirmed that not only will he be back, but is also a key building block going forward.

And it’s all for revenge against the Raptors owner making fun of the C’s at the start of the season.  Wyc’s goal is to make the C’s more popular in Canada than the Raptors by assembling a team full of Canucks.
