A team with Wiggins on it. I'll figure the other 4 out later.

Something like Asik, KO, Wiggins/Parker, Hairston and Rondo would be okay with me.

(I'd settle for Embiid and Green in there instead.)

Rondo
Wiggins
Anthony
Love
Asik

How to achieve

Land pick in draft to get Wiggins in lottery

Draft day trade with Minnesota - Sullinger, Faverani, Bogans, Bass, 2014 ATL, 2017 BOS for Love

Before TPE expires trade with Houston - 2015 LAC, TPE for Asik

Sign and trade with NY - Green, Olynyk, 2015 BOS, 2016 BRK, 2018 BRK for Anthony
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Not only is that more than a starting 5 its certainly not dreamy since Bradley is involved in it.

Realistically..

Rondo
Bradley (on a one year deal)
Asik
J Parker
Sullinger

6th man: Olynyk

Playoff team as a 6 or 7 seed. Success of team convinces Love to sign here - Sullinger or Olynyk is then traded with a bunch of picks for another piece. Rondo is re-signed. Banner 18 in 15-16.

Rondo
Stauskas
Green
Sullinger
Embiid

Replace Stauskas with James Young or Bradley and that's a nice starting 5.

I had a dream where I played basketball with President Obama and Joe Montana. Later on, Joe Montana kind of changed... you know how that kind of happens in dreams and it makes sense for some reason... into my dad. My friend Ari was there, too.

You might prefer a different lineup, but we were going with

POTUS at the 1
Ari at the 2
Joe Cool at the 3
I'm at the 4
and dad at the 5.

That was indoor, but I think we'd run the court down on River Street with that group for sure.

I'm totally sure about why I had this dream. I read about the group in the Philippines that is going for the basketball marathon record. My dad and his friends from the Tennessee Valley Authority held that record in the early seventies (it was a measly 50 hours at the time!).

My dream starting 5 for next year is one that has none of our current starting 5 on it.

If we can get Kevin Love for young players, picks and cap relief...

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Love
Embiid

Love and Embiid's games would compliment each other on the block and both are bigs that can play fast break ball. Bradley can shoot 3's and focus on defense, Green can be an all around player and glue guy with that lineup. Rondo is the maestro.

Still think that lineup can improve at the 2 and 3 over the next few years but would be pretty happy with that as a starting point.
