I can't imagine such a high profile guy would start his rookie season with only 7 games left.

I would think ROY and All Rookie team are things all parties involved would hope to achieve, from the team to his agent to Noel himself (though I could imagine he's just eager to play his first NBA game).

Although I guess someone could throw out how "stacked" the 2014 class is, and this is to avoid being embarrassed and not even making one of the All Rookie teams or finishing way out in the ROY race.  Though I doubt this is the case.  Maybe he is just eager to get out there.

Around the league players are often considered rookies by teammates and coaches until they play their 82 game.

i think philly management might injure him if he tries to play. after all the work they've done this year to take a legit NBA roster and turn it into a d-league team, noel should know very well that effort is not welcome in philly this year. (hope the spirit of stern screws them in the lottery b/c what they are doing is really shameful).
