Wasted some time on espn's lottery simulator.
The most common position for the c's was the 6th pick. Espn had us drafting Gordon at this spot and Randell at the 5.
Noah Vonleh  consistently shows up in the 7-9 range.
Given our need for a center would you consider "reaching" for Vonleh at 5-6?
While listed at 6'10" he's got a 7'3" reach and is a tenacious player who chews up the glass.
I've always believed in drafting the best player available but I think this guy is going to be an impact player.
Randell only adds to the log jam at PF, is Gordon worth leaving a hole at center? Is there that much separation between Randell/ gorden and Vonleh to consider drafting him at 5/6 a reach?

We don't need a center. We need talent. A center isn't going to make much of a difference with our lack of talent.

On the other hand, I would not want to end up like Utah with a team full of power forwards that ends up letting the 2 vets walk (Milsap and Jefferson). They did not get value for Milsap, who is a pretty good player.
