Asked if he was surprised by their showing following what Stevens termed "a good practice," Rondo corrects, "I don't feel like it was a good practice."

Boy, that Rondo-Stevens tandem is working really well, isn't it.

Did he expand at all on that comment? Or did he just leave it at that?

Yea but Rondo is smarter than everyone else, so I will side with him and say it wasn't a good practice...

If there was, it's not quoted in the article I'm reading.

We talkin' 'bout practice? Rondo's supposed to be our franchise player, and we're postin' here, talkin' 'bout practice? How silly is that? Not the actual game, when it matters, we're talkin' 'bout practice.

With this team, practice may matter more than actual games.

kozlodoev is reading more than whats there into it. Just sounds tired and down about the loss shooting off cliches for the most part.

It could mean also he didnt have a good practice or the team didnt

If the blame is on stevens I see it as a closer indication that rondo is in his way out either voluntarily or via trade. Stevens is signed up for 6 years and going nowhere anytime soon

Rondo is a bad fit for this rebuild and vice versa. Unless danny gains talent by FA or trade in the off season, the marriage is likely going to end imo

I'd rather have Rondo on the court than Stevens on the sideline.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
If my team get blown out like that, I don't think I'll have anything positive to say either.

I'll really reserve my judgment on the Steven-Rondo situation when we get a much better team. Right now the losses are expected, but I'm glad that Rondo is beyond upset that we are losing.

With that said, I don't think I can judge the relationship until a better team is set. If something is still wrong by then, then fingers will be pointed.

I know all indications are that rondo is likely gone and it seems the relationship between rondo and the organization have soured beyond repair.

but i'll remind everyone that there was something similar to this between Olajuwon and Houston yrs ago. Olajuwon was secs. away from being traded to LA for divac, the deal was all but done and I believe LA backed out at the last minute.

Olajuwon and the rockets mended fences and went on to eventually win a championship.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
So what did you expect him to say?

Team gets blown out by the GS, and the Celtics are on their way to completely tanking?

You guys are blowing this out of proportion. Besides Rondo saying he wants to test free agent waters, which any smart player would do to gauge their value.... He hasn't said anything that states he literally wants out.

Until we get rumors that hes unhappy, or wants out. I won't really believe any of these. Rondo originally was brought into Steven's system, and has said nothing but good things about Steven, and has never once pointed fingers at him..

Does anyone else besides me remember how much of a jerk Pierce was? God at one point I was dead set on us just trading him, so we wouldn't hear his complaining and blatant immaturity poison our young talent.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

Not sure if the Op was serious or not but clerly this is something that doesnt need to be brought up. As in its pretty much just white noise.
