Hey guys,

Just wondering what you guys think will happen if we get the 4th pick and end up with Exum. Do we put him a SG? If so, What happens to AB? Do we start him at PG? If so, What happens to Rondo? Do we bring him off the bench? There's a few options. What would you guys like to see?

AB at PG? Bench Rondo? No way.

I wanted Exum, to play SG and we let Bradley go.
Seems like Exum may force his way to LA, so there goes that ship.

Maybe we could get Wiggins if the pick was high enough, if not, Smart is the way.

Even better: Trade the picks for Kevin Love.
Goal for next season: Top 2 seed.
Say goodbye to: Turner, Zeller, Sully.

I'm pretty sure you didn't read his post quite right. He was wondering what happens to AB if we start Exum at sg, what happens to Rondo is we start him at pg, or should we just bring him [Exum] off the bench.

The answer to that question is easy - we start him at sg and try to keep AB as the 3rd guard at a reasonable price or let him walk. Exum is supposed to be the next big thing and if he is anywhere near Penny Hardaway, he should definitely be starting.

I would like to have him be the 6th man and sub in for Rondo and Bradley to see how he looks.  If he looks like he will be a great PG but a terrible SG, then trade Rondo.  If he looks like he can play SG, trade or don't resign Bradley.  No reason to rush it

SG if he can handle it, 6th man if not.

As drastic as it seems I think drafting exum prompts a rondo trade. Exum has stated he doesn't want to join a team with an established pg and that he wants to start at pg from day 1. It's a big risk but I think exum will be good enough to warrant trading rondo and building around a super young core. Also Ab will fit nicely next to the size of exum

I doubt Bradley will be back
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I'd rather have Rondo than Bradley.  If we can get a 1st round pick in this year's draft for Bradley, I'd sign and trade him in a heartbeat.  Rondo + Exum would be a very good starting backcourt.

You don't move a proven top 5 PG to accommodate an unproven rookie.  However I don't see Bradley in our future if Exum slots into the 2 and handles it well.

He wants to be a Laker and play with his heroes in LA .

Hope we don't draft him .    Don't need another diva ....cry baby ...threatening to leave every week for LA when things don't go right.

So did Paul pierce, remember? How did that work out?

How many heroes could he "play with in LA"? Kobe is always injured and on his last legs, Nash is done, Gasol is not the same player he was 2-3 years ago... so he wants to play with Kent Bazemore? Kendall Marshall? Wesley Johnson?

PG - Rondo
SG - Exum

Let Bradley walk. Sure his defensive presence will be missed, but he's been atrocious all season long on offense. It cringes me whenever he takes a 3-pointer.

Yes, that's what he meant probably, but it's was written ambiguously.  :P

Either way in that case it's better to get rid of Bradley.

But folks, see these news:

Exum wants to be a combo guard, not SG, and wants a team without a star PG. Also he likes Lakers and Orlando more. I think the ship has sailed already...

Yeah but imagine this scenario.  The draft falls this way:

1.) Philly - Wiggins
2.) Milwuakee - Embiid
3.) Utah - Parker

Then 4.) goes to Cleveland and they take someone really stupid like James Young, because they're the Cavs and of course they do.

The Detroit picks Vonleh at 5.) because they don't have enough bigs

Then it goes 6.) Us, 7.) Magic, 8.) Lakers

Are we not going to take Exum there because it might hurt his feelings?  Of course not.  He and his agent can pound sand.

Detroit and Cleveland are 9th and 10th in the standings how are they ending up with these picks??
