Top 5 Teams I Would Like To See Win The Title This Season

1. Nets - Because I'm a big fan of KG and Pierce for obvious reasons.

2. Pacers - It would be refreshing to see a team win the title without a top 10 pick or major free agent signing. it would give me a lot of hope for the future. Observing Larry Legend status grow.

3. Rockets - I'm just a big fan of Kevin Mchale. It would be nice to see him win one as a coach.

4. Clippers - I like Rivers, plus it would be bad for the Lakers.

5. Mavs - I like Cuban and Dirk.

1. Pacers (likable. Larry Bird. No championships.)

2. Golden State (terrible historically. no championships. great fans. likable enough squad.)

3. Nets (no chance, but old friends on the team)

4. Washington Wizards

5. Toronto

So, basically I'll root for anyone but the Heat in the playoffs, and the only contender I truly like is Indy. The OKC squad is cool, but the Seattle thing still stings.

The Bay gets crazy when a Bay team wins a Championship. I want to see and experience that, again.

And then I'd go Thunder, Pacers, Nets and Spurs

OKC because Durant deserves one.
Indy because Larry needs that Championship he so wanted to win for Indiana
Nets for KG and Paul
And the Spurs because, well, I want Timmy to redeem himself for that missed hook shot in Game 7.

I'd root for anyone against the Heat, but realistically, I think the only team that can beat them this year is Indy, so it's 'Go Pacers!' for me.
