Could a starting undersized back court of Bledsoe/Rondo have worked well? Bledsoe can also work well on and off the ball. Coach Brad Steven has also mentioned his system has worked well with two point guards, and Bledsoe/Rondo could look like a defensive decent and speedy back court that most teams wouldn't be able to stop.

It would've definitely been interesting to watch. I've been a fan of Bledsoe after watching how well hes been playing for the Suns pre-injury. Hes been dominant. Hes been everything we needed in a SG/PG. Takes it into the teeth of the defense, great passer, and even though he takes too many mid range shots, he's been hitting them pretty well. He also seems to turn it up in the 4th quarter, and that game against OKC where he went off, no one could seem to guard him.

Thing I don't get is why would the Clippers trade Bledsoe for such a weak deal too... Pierce/Garnett/Rivers could've definitely put them up in contention right now. Heck, I would've even taken Bledsoe for those two, and a draft pick if it could've worked.

I still think a back court of Rondo/Bledose would've really been interesting to watch.

I like DeAndre Jordan, but I really love the deal the Nets gave us. 3 first rounders for 2 aged veterans, I'd take that any day.

It's a good question.

Bledsoe
Bradley
Green
Sullinger
Jordan

With Rondo still as trade bait or to keep.

1) I'm not totally convinced that Stevens has a system, let alone one that would work with a pair of pointguards.

2) I don't think Rondo + Bledsoe's a great pairing because Rondo has been borderline useless off the ball, and probably will be for the foreseeable future. If that's the case, why not get a real shooting guard to pair with him in the back court?

3)A DeAndre/Sully/Green frontcourt could've been pretty rad.

We'd be screwed. We would have a good enough record to be the 7th or 8th seed and get swept, and miss out on a great lottery class, and we would have no assets to try to get better. We would be stuck.
