Oh well. In the long run this shouldn't matter. If Rondo gets dealt, or doesn't want to re-sign, because he had a mini-tiff with his coach about taking a day off when he wasn't playing, then he probably wasn't staying anyway.
Also, it wouldn't surprise me if some of Brad's vagueness comes from the fact that it wasn't his decision to sit Rondo. I remember before the all-star break it being implied, if not explicitly stated, that Rondo would start playing back-to-backs on the other side of the All-Star game. And yet, vs. Sacramento, a team who we're neck-and-neck with for draft position, he sits.
