It is way to early to tier prospects but I was just thinking how the players in the top 10 should make for some major difference in opinions. More so then most years.

Tier 1
Embiid, I think he has set himself apart enough to get his own tier

Tier 2
   Wiggins
   Parker
   Exum
this tier comes down to skill parker vs potential wiggins with Exum sitting somewhere in the middle

Tier 3
   Smart
   Randle
   Vonleh
could have been tier 1 last year, alot of talent in this group, team need most likely to dictate this order

Tier 4
   Gordon
   Ennis
both could be better then their counter parts in tier 2 they just have further to develop

Tier 5
10+ solid guys who will fill this tier some will be high potential/high risk like Hariston, Grant or Capela and role player types like Mcdermott, Payne, or Strauskas

Im pretty confident Joel is serious about staying in school, but if he's not I put him in tier 1.

Tier 1: Embiid
Tier 2: Parker
Tier 3: Exum/Wiggins
Tier 4: Smart/Gordon/Vonleh/Randle

Thats how I see it anyways. Parker has franchise/Paul pierce potential. Dont really see that Wiggins.

And it's funny you mentioned Ennis, he's shooting up boards. If he's available after like the 8th pick I wonder if Ainge trade the Nets/Hawks pick and a future pick to go up and snag him.

Tier 1:
Embiid
Parker
Wiggins
Exum

Tier 2:
Randle
Vonleh

Tier 3:
About 15 of the usual names in the various mocks. This is where I'd put Smart and Gordon along with Cauley-Stein, Selden, Young, Stauskas, Lavine, Hood, Ennis. Tier 3 strikes me as more nebulous, where as the last two drafts, outside of knowing Anthony Davis was going #1 were uncertain from nearly top to bottom (of the 1st rnd).

I dont think Ennis is a player Ainge will give up assets to move up for. If Rondo is moved this could change but I would expect and trading up would be for a higher potential prospect. Though moving up for KO points other wise.

I could see the Magic moving up from there second pick to get him if they don't land smart or exum. Toronto could also make alot of sense trading up to land a Canadian replacement for Lowry.

I would say that Tier 1 is

Embiid
Parker
Wiggins

Tier 2 is just Exum by himself

Tier 3.0 is
Vonleh
Randle
Smart

Tier 3.5 is
Gordon
Jusuf Nurkic
Dario Saric
Gary Harris
Tyler Ennis
James Young

I really like the odds of someone in 3 or 3.5 falling to our second pick.  Let's hope the Nets and Hawks lose just a few more games.  I could see Aaron Gordon or Dario Saric falling a little further than they should and Danny has the pieces to trade up.  If we ended up with Embiid and Dario Saric or Wiggins and Jusuf it would be crazy

I'll be curious to see what Chad Ford says when he finally does his official tiers.

I thought I heard him say he had multiple guys in there for 2014.
