I think we would have easily been a third seed this year if everyone was healthy. However, I'd rather get Wiggins/Parker/Embiid for a decade than a 1 year rental of PP and KG.

--snip--

is anyone still mad about the trade and what could have been with KG and Pierce having 1-2 more cracks at the playoffs together?
The disappointment about Pierce and Garnett being traded has nothing to do with having or not having a couple of cracks at the playoffs. As a matter of fact, it probably has very little to do with the basketball aspect of that trade.
Agree.  Jeff Green was coming along nicely last year.  How much would the mentorship of Pierce and Garnett meant to KO, JG and Sully this year.  It seems that Rondo did a terrific job staying involved throughout his rehab, but aside from him, we had Humphries and Wallace as mentors for the young guys.  While they were valuable and tried, they didn't have the panache and background of "Celtics basketball" to instill a team spirit.
Yesterday is history.
