There's a young nineteen year old from France, Clint Cappella, who I've noticed creep up some draft boards lately.  I've watched a couple of videos and read some scouting reports.  He seems promising, but also with a fair amount of bust potential.

Anyone else got this kid on their radar?  Any thoughts?

Capella seems like a decent role of the dice with a later first round pick say 18 and on.

Anybody else think Cauley Stein busts?

In this order - Embiid, Wiggins, Parker, Randle, Vonleh, Exum and Smart.  That's the top 7 for me.  I think everyone is getting confused on Randle, here is Chad Ford's scouting report.  He has elite athleticism, it's his ability to defend at the next level that people are questioning...

 •Super athletic power forward
•Can score both with back to the basket and as a face-up forward
•Elite rebounder
•Explosive leaper
•NBA body
•Good ball handler
•Amazing motor

Negatives •Not an elite defender
•Not always in tip-top shape
•Can fall in love with the jumper

My lottery sleeper pick is PJ Hairston.

Very talented player who has a few supposed red flags but nothing too outrageous.

Any team that waste a first round pick on WCS will be extremely disappointed.

Wiggins is looking better after every game.

For some reason he is reminding me more and more of Gerald Green, the developed version that is playing excellent basketball this year

I am bias but the best situation for Wiggins would be getting drafted by the C's and playing with Rondo.  I honestly can't think of a better guy in the league to get the ball to Wiggins in his spots on the floor where he would be unstoppable.

Would Jahii Carson be better than Pressey?

My projections, not counting the "big 3"

Exum - Kobe (nobody really projects to be Kobe, but when I watch him that's who I see)
Randle - Antonio McDyess
Vonleh - Taj Gibson
Smart - Jarrett Jack
Gary Harris - Courtney Lee
Rodney Hood - Tayshaun Prince
Cauley-Stein - Gadzuric
McDermott - Jason Kapono / Ryan Gomes
TJ Warren - Paul Pierce
PJ Hairston - James Harden
Nurkic - Bynum

The catch is that half of these guys won't have the chops to make it in the league.

some interesting comparisons you made. But i can't agree with Exum = Kobe. Kobe is an unconscious clutch scorer. And his bread and butter is that fadeway jump shot. Or put you to sleep then pull up for a jump shot. In his earlier days he could acrobatically finish around the basket or dunk on you.  Exum can't jump. He can barely dunk the ball. He has shown to be able to finish acrobatically around the net but without much a leap will get blocked more at pro level

Exum imo is a taller Barbosa at his peak. That is a darn good player still

The reason I say Kobe is because he has sneaky athleticism.  He's not blindingly fast like Barbosa.  He just kind of glides to the hoop and flips in a reverse, or stops short, pivots and shoots a fadeaway.

Check that at about 1:42.  A few Kobe-esque layups and a nice two handed alley-oop.  Exum has shown well against good international competition.  So, he reminds me stylistically of Kobe.
