Yes, he makes sense to me with the kind of lineups we had in the last 2-3 years of the KG era. A solid back up big that keeps our interior defense this side of passable while the starting bigs (in our case KG) sits. Sure his rim protection can help this roster today with say...6 wins but what do those extra 6 do for us right now except make the overall rebuild a little more complicated than is truly necessary. Lets first work out the core of the next contender then fill the gaps with a Stiemsma type big.
