He was a premier shooter not too long ago, even going toe to toe in the Bulls-Celtics series with Ray Allen in an epic shootout. I'm not sure what happened to him since then or what he has left in the tank, but he's only 30 years old and healthy. Where do you see him signing? Hopefully not Miami. I hope he goes to the Pacers.

I would consider trying to bring him here and pair him with Rondo.

Can the Nets sign him even though their payroll is a billion dollars already?

he won't make much of a difference this season, but get him in here and up to speed for next year. We need shooters. We have always needed shooters. He can be as affective as Eric Gordon but for much, much less money.

The Pacers just got Evan Turner, I'm not sure they need Gordon too.

Gordon is actually not a bad fit with Miami, unfortunately.

San Antonio? OKC? POR? I can think of a lot of teams that could use Gordon.

This is one player that I wouldn't care if Mia gets him. Not because he isn't good but because that is not the type of player that Mia is missing. They have shooters and scorers a plenty... if Mia loses, it will surely be because the other team will out big them. Scoring helps but this is the season where the being last in rebounding and no big man to help them is going to cost them (if Oden isn't ready). I mean, maybe he can help them because of Wade's health but when the playoffs come... Pacers have upped their game. People laugh about BBD but Mia could use him and I'm not even joking... for all the jokes about BBD, he isn't much worse of a player than Bass and he can/has stepped it up in the playoffs... I hope BKN gets him.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Oooh, very interesting. I can't wait to see where he lands.

It's a shame how the last few years have gone for Ben Gordon. Such a talented player. He should have been playing a Jason Terry-like role on a title contender for the last 5 years. Pity. He has wasted his best years on lousy teams.

Does it really matter? 2009 was a long time ago. His defense was always bad and his shooting has fallen off a cliff. This season he couldn't get playing time on a team that desperately needed outside shooting.

Fun fact is that both he and Charlie V are probably going to be bought out this week. They should be arrested for robbery. God bless Joe Dumars.  :D

the guy is still a great shooter. The Bobcats just suck and couldn't create enough spacing with their other players to properly use him.

A bit off topic but I've read their fans say that their defense is pretty good, thanks to their coach...

Is it?

Being able to play defense with Big Al in the middle could be interesting. I could see why they want to be competitive now with Al putting up all star numbers.

Yep, this is where I'd go if I were him.

if by "great shooter" you mean p--- poor, then i agree.

his numbers this year are really down from his career averages for shooting:

3 pt% career = 40.2%
3 pt% this year = 28.6%

fg% career = 43.2%
fg% this year = 35.6%

this represents a significant drop in the only real skill gordon brings to a team - shooting.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
