Give Jazz's GM a call, Danny.

Could probably give them AB instead of JG.

I'd rather keep AB TBH

I agree, seeming Hayward is more suited to play 3 imo

We could flip JG for Asik, though, maybe.

Talent wise it may be ok but i do not like trading for non top-tier guys ready for extensions. Happened with jeff green too. No rookie deal years left.

Much as I like Hayward, I think this is a wise POV. We'd have to pay this guy ~$12mil per year this summer, in all likelihood.

I'd rather target a Hayward (2nd or 3rd fiddle guy) in a year or two, when the make-up of our team gets a little clearer.

agreed.

also from an assets standpoint, no reason to have to add a pick to Green to get Hayward.  IMHO, Hayward has slightly better rebound and assist numbers due to much less talent on his team to pick up that slack.

Hayward is a restricted FA after this season, we could likely land him by putting in a relatively high offer sheet without giving up anything. Doubt Utah would match 11+ mil per year.
