Kevin Love for

2 first round picks (2014), Humphries, and sullinger.

Go forward with Rondo, Love, and Green as your best 3.  Nice spot for FA in future years?

The Celtics world explodes because they don't want to give up any draft picks...they want Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid,  Dante Exum, and Andrew Wiggins that bad!!

Eh real talk. Imo if the C's can land Kevin Love and have him sign a multi-year contract...I'm all in.

I actually think the Celtics lose that deal. To be honest the 2014 draft is probably a little overhyped, however I believe theres 1 or maybe 2 players who can carry a franchise. Love I don't think can. To give up 2 firsts AND Sullinger who I'm a very big fan of for Love doesn't make sense to me.

Green isn't a good 3rd option on a contender. If you want the team to contend in the East but not for the title then I guess make this deal. I just think Sullinger is going to make teams pay for the next decade for passing on him. I don't want to be on the receiving end.

Easy Minnesota and if we're smart, us too.  They won't trade him right now and he won't resign with us so in 1.5 years he's gone....

He might be open to resigning, but I can't imagine that the T-Wolves do it, since they're losing the best player and they're a much better team than we are at the moment.

Every writer and league source that follows the NBA have said he wants to go back to the West coast, especially LA.  That means either the Clips in a sign and trade or the Lakers.  Is there a chance?  Always a slight chance but why risk it and as I said there's NO WAY the TWolves are trading him right now. This is about the 4th or 5th Love trade offer and none of them are possible right now....

Full disclosure: I don't want Kevin Love on the team. I also agree with you that he wants to go out West. Not every NBA beat writer and source thinks he's going to leave, though. That's some selective reading, there. Actually, more like some selective reporting. I could call up the Wolves office tomorrow and get a quote about how he's happy there, but K-Love's not on not my beat, and no one would read it.

The crux there, though, is I don't think he's going to leave the Wolves for a worse team like the Lakers. And neither does he:
Quote
So fess up, Kev: You're gone, right? “People think it's so far-fetched that I would stay in Minnesota,” he says. “And I'm not ****ing on the Lakers, but we have the better team, the better foundation. I'm having fun.”

I'd take that deal.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I'd rather include Wallace than Hump, but I truly see Sully as a poor man's Love.  The difference, IMO, is that Love is more effective and reliable as a scorer.  Sully is opportunistic and aggressive on the offensive boards, which adds a few ppg, but when you need a bucket, Love is the guy.

IF they take Wallace, I include both 2014 picks.

Rondo/Green/Love is strong in the East.

Indy will probably let either Granger or Stephenson go this summer.  It would be nice to move Bass/Wallace to help make salary room for one of those guys.

The thought is going from good players to greater players, pushing us into contention.  Love>Sully, so make the move.  Healthy Stephenson or Granger > Green or Bradley, so make the move.

Rondo
Bradley
Granger
Green
Love

If we keep enough for a bench, we might have something without waiting to bring along a slew of rooks.

EDIT:  Better yet, keeping one of either Sully or KO to play next to Love, trading the other with 2 2014 picks and WALLace, with Green and Stephenson starting, and Bradley returning off the bench as 3rd guard.

Rondo/Bradley
STephenson/Bradley
Green/
Sully(or KO)/Bass (we might be stuck, or even want him)
Love/

A pretty good core.  Worth a #6-10 pick, a late 1st, and KO?

Honestly if we are able land Love, we should do every single thing possible to free up cap space next summer even at the expense of picks, because I think if you had Love and Rondo on this roster, Melo becomes a serious free agent possibility.  Shoot... even LeBron would have to give it some thought.

Of course, if the framework of the Love deal was humph, our 2014 picks and SUlly... you could still do a sign-and-trade for Melo in the offseason including Green + other stuff.
