I'm sure there is a thread like this some where, but as we get closer to the deadline I was curious about what trades you think two teams should consider.

My first thought.

K.Thompson to the C's + Ezeli = An athletic 2 with length and the outside shot we need.

for

A.Bradley + KO = a defensive minded 2 for a team that can't play D and a stretch 4/5 with potential.

I like the idea of going after Klay Thompson, and he would be a great fit.  Golden State can't keep both Barnes and Thompson and I think we should make a play for one of them.  I see it being more likely in the offseason since Barnes and Bradley are both RFAs.  A sign and trade possible.  I think I would do your trade because I think Thompson is a proven young outside threat we could really use.  It is hard to give up two talented young players to get him however.  And can Golden State afford to keep Bradley?

I don't see why Golden State makes that move.

This is a homer trade, not a fair trade. Deal makes no sense at all for GSW.

Very, very rare to find fair trades for both teams on this blog.

When they're posted, they're usual described as "horrible" or "awful" for Boston, because (like most fans of any team) Cs fans overvalue our players.

Just being candid with you based on the way you phrased your post.

Fair trade is followed by a question mark so my post is labeled fine.  As for your opinion that the trade in a homer trade…I respectfully disagree.  While the deal is a larger upgrade for a bottom dweller who needs a scorer than a playoff caliber team getting a defensive stopper the trade would make each team significantly better.  Golden State's D is awful and they are collecting L's because of it.  Bradley gives them a player to guard Paul, Westbrook, Parker, etc.  and free's touches for Curry, Bogut, Lee and Barnes.  Olynyk gives them a serviceable Big in a conference that requires depth.  Just my thoughts of course...

Thompson is the best player in the trade by a long shot.

C's would need to include a 1st round pick.  GS probably says no for less than the C's pick this year, which is obviously a non-starter.

Im sorry but this is definitely a homer trade. Like someone said Thompson is by far the best player in the deal. (By a super long shot). I don't see why the playoff bound Warriors would significantly downgrade their lineup by replacing Thompson with Bradley. They already have Iggy to D up on the teams opposite star. Bradley hurts them in that situation big time. KO is a rookie who wouldnt see much floor time for GSW.

AB, KO, and probably 2 first round picks would be required to net Thompson from them.

have to admit, I think GSW would want more for Klay -- most likely more than we'd want to give up

I don't see why Golden State makes that move.

With Curry, Barnes, and Iggy at the 1-3 spots Klay will likely end up on the bench as the next Jamal Crawford or Jet. I think Bradley would fit well next to Curry since he has more of a scorers mentality than Rondo.

They would also likely save money since (correct me if I'm wrong) AB would command less money than Klay in free agency.

I think it benefits both sides but it seems a little favored towards us. 10/10 would do this  ;D
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.
