I just watched a game of him where he was just dominating everybody. I also saw a game a few weeks ago where he had like 2 points and 3 boards or something. Scouts love his athleticism and his potential. Obviously he has a pretty low floor but with right coaching his ceiling is pretty high. Could he eventually turn into a Tyson chandler type? I think if he is there with our second first he would be a smart get. We would be able to bring him along slowly and he is a pretty good complement to KO Hump if he is back fav and Sullinger. Maybe Stevens can work him into a good player? What do you guys think, what is his floor/ceiling? and would he be smart to take with our second first?

Well I don't think he will ever be able to but as much bulk as Jordan so I was thinking maybe na ale McGee/ chandler hybrid? When it's all said and done.

Here's his DX preview video:

Draftexpress has him going 12th...seems like a long shot to be in our range with that second pick.

But yeah, in the 18-20th pick range, someone like that seems like a really good bet.

I mean, he can't be as bad as Fab Melo.

He can't - right?

Willie Cauley-Stein's college numbers are actually kind of impressive when you see who else has produced like him in recent years.

I think he'll be a nice defensive center in the NBA.  I don't know what kind of offensive player he'll be.  But I think if you pick him expecting him to (eventually) be similar to Larry Sanders, with the potential to become Tyson Chandler, then you won't be too disappointed.

He is not ready. Only role potential at the moment

He needs to start by packing on more muscles

not of a fan of this guy, I don't think he will ever develop into a serviceable big man.  I wouldn't use a first round pick on this guy if I was any team.....

Dont know much about him either but NBAdraft has him compared to Dan Gadzuric...Which isn't the best comparison to have in my eyes.

I remember hearing on a broadcast that he played wide receiver in football in discussion of his athleticism...however he has not shown me enough to warrant his mock draft status, but then neither did Fab.....Gadzuric may be a good comparison

Is he the next Fab Melo or is he the next Tony Battie?  Battie was a serviceable big man.

Nothing special but he brought a toughness with his game.  Melo was out of the league in less than 24 months?  LOL

Also Tony Battie averaged less than 8 ppg per his career.  Was he really worth the 5th overall pick just because he was 7 foot tall and played some defense?  Hmmm.

WCS, I'm worried about the fact that he has bad hands and can't defend the pick and roll well.  He'd get eaten alive in the NBA.  Maybe a poor man's Mark Blount?

Ouch, that has to be a groin kick for his agent.  I mean future agent.
