Korver is a 3. Thompson is a 2. He has qualities of a 2. He can handle the ball, shoot the ball, shoot on the dribble and guard nba sg.

Mcdermott plays more like a pf/sf in college. No way he can play sg in the nba. He will also get torched defensively. Imagine him guarding stephenson. Who will shoot it from the outside. Mcdermott now guards closer and will get past by to the basket in seconds. It wont work

Hayward is a sf/sg. He plays out of position alot in utah.

Unlike DM he has underrated handles and athleticism to keep up with nba guards on the defensive end

I know DM is great off screens. And can shoot. But he missing lots of other things to play sg

I really am interested in Kyle Andersen as we'll, whichever is avaliable because I believe one of the two won't be available with the 15-18 pick. Also depends on who we get with our pick. Andersen is intriguing, but if we keep rondo, I don't see Andersen starting at shooting gaurd, not much shooting range. I see McDermott playing we'll with rondo. Like how rondo played with ray, fast break threes. Post up shooting guards.

What you guys are mis understanding is , I'm saying McDermott will do all of our shooting, whether he's listed as our SG or SF. He can play gaurd on offense and gaurd SF's on defense. Whichever he'd be a liability to start.
Also mcdermotts ball handling isn't as bad as you guys are making it seem. Saying as if. He's a Center. He can clearly carry the ball up court if he needs to. Klay Thompson and Hayward are not looked upon as ball handlers either, but can take it to the rack if needed. McDermott can clearly take it to the rack he's not incompetent.

No one thinks McDermott is a 2.  Hell, some scouts don't think he's a natural 3.  He'd be more suitable as a 4 than as a 2.  That being said, I think he is gonna make a decent pro, but I don't know if he'd be the right fit for us.  But I think he'll def. be a better pro than some of the other comparisions (Jimmer, Morrision) that are being brought up.

Odd choice of players. Grant Hill was an easy Hall of Famer if not for the injuries in his prime. If Parker is Hill, we should draft him.

It is unfair to compare McDermott to Morrison as Morrison was drafter 3rd. McDermott won't get drafted anywhere near that spot.

1. Kwame never played college.
2. Grant Hill was HOF easy if not for injuries.
3. Wiggins is easily more athletic than Green. His ceiling is unknown, and his floor is like 18/5/5.

It was like Jeff Green and Bass for Asik and Bradley 2014 BKN #1 for Hayward. Those deals aren't bad and wouldn't leave the team empty.
