I want this center from Arizona State in the second round Danny!!!  PLEASE buy a second rounder and take this kid!!

http://nbadraft.net/block-party

He is leading the nation in blocked shots and is shooting about 60% from the field.

Nbadraft.net has him going #56.  There is NO WAY this guy last this long!!!!!

I really like how he has improved his FT%, rebounding, and blocks EVERY year!!!

That's legit length right there. There's something to work with.

Don't really know about his upside for his overall game and athleticism, but man, 7'2" with 7'4" wingspan, that's great tools to be a rim protector.

Edit: He's a solid athlete looking at his Youtube clips. I'm on board.

He was key in beating Arizona recently. Impossible last shot block

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34VbqaN1dBI

not the most recent highlight clip of him but you get the picture. Good looking shot blocker. Physical. One big weakness is that he just has mediocre lateral footspeed. Could be a problem when performing PNR defense in the nba

Thanks triboy!!  I think these were all from one game, the Marquette game. Impressive!!!!  I love how he typically blocks shots WITHOUT fouling!!

Biggest knock on him is his lack of strength and age (24). Would definitely take him in early 2nd round, though. Maybe late first if he keeps rising.

I'm not an expert on wingspan but is his arms a little short for someone that tall?  Doesn't Noah Vonleh who is 6'10" have the same wingspan?

It is 1/2" shorter than Dwight Howard's wingspan was when he was drafted.  1.5" shorter than Anthony Davis.  1/2" MORE than Marcin Gortat's was coming out.  1.75" shorter than Larry Sanders.  6.25" MORE than Kelly Olynyk:-))  Just to give you some context.

In other words, his wingspan is perfectly FINE!!!

Asik is a legitimate 7 footer with ONLY a 7'2".  Jordan will be fine!!!!

Yes, Jordan's wingspan is 2.75" longer than Noah's.

Im not sure as well if that's an impressive wingspan for a guy his size.

But that's still a 7'4" wingspan. Simply put, his height and wingspan is the same as Roy Hibbert's. That length definitely would bother shots.

Fab Melo doesnt have this kind of length. And Bachysnski looks like he has better hands.

My real concern now is, IIRC, we dont have a second rounder. He maybe a risk as a first rounder right now, but his stock his rising.

I think he can be a contributor as a pro. At worst he can play 16 minutes per game for any team and be a presence on the interior on defense. That may not be worth a first round though.
