The Celts are done with Milwaukee this year, but the other bad teams are not.  The Bucks still have the following games to play:

Orlando 2x
Philly
Sacramento 2x
Cleveland
Utah
Lakers

Those are 8 wins for our competitors.

I've given up on Philly and the Lakers, as well as Milwaukee, unless Danny can really pull some deadline magic.

Bucks, Magic and Sixers are going to be 1-3 in reverse standings. Key games for us are coming up after all star break.

Feb 21 @Lakers
Feb 22 @Kings
Feb 24 @Jazz

If we go 3-0 we will be at 22 wins while our competition is at 17 through 19, meaning we are almost a lock to be 7th or 8th. If we go 0-3 we have a strong chance of being 4th cause only remaining games vs tankers are 2 games vs Philly in April.

we're 6th right now and looking at who's above us (barely), we'll most likely pass Utah (hot streak or not, it's Utah) and Cleveland (just a freaking disaster this year) and end up with the 8th worst record.

Every team with a worse record than us will probably stay below us unless Kobe and Nash come back healthy (as well as the other people dinged up on the Lakers) where the Kobe/Nash/Pau trio could do a tune on the garbage teams of the league this year and pass us.

at best, I don't see how we finish lower than the 7th worst team unless Danny has a fire-sale with our 'better' players being shipped out for expiring scrubs and picks
