KO the past two games has played similar to the way he has played in the SL. Encouraging signs to see

He is not hesitating as much anymore and confident with what he wants to do out there. Also has improved on his rebounding (likely thx to Adams)

I like the way he is not over helping on defense and picking up fouls too quickly.

Definitely has a high iq proved by the way he has progressed thus far. His biggest obstacle to get real good is to comeback next year with a pro body

No, he kind of sucks. Good passer, though.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Right on the money with your assessment. He does more things on the court than I thought and I will be very happy to be wrong about him.

I think the other offseason goal is to become effective three point shooter. In the end I think his ability to take defenders outside and knock down shots will make him most effective as the other teams matchup problem, as opposed to our matchup problem on the box against stronger inside players.

Didn't watch tonight but loved the stat line. Watching him vs Mavs the other night and was bummed his jumpers weren't falling. Hopefully, he's got the natural shooter ability and can become a threat from outside. Mildly optimistic on our friend KO. Keep it up!

Since returning in December, KO's offensive numbers have been more solid across the board:

http://espn.go.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/2489663/kelly-olynyk

His defense is still the issue (IMO), but he may yet find a way to minimize the damage on that end. Who knows.

Also, meanwhile, Antetokounpo's numbers have been on a steady decline over the same period (as you might expect from someone who's so young and physically under-developed).

http://espn.go.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/3032977/giannis-antetokounmpo

This doesn't settle anything definitively, of course. But the "we should've taken Giannis" argument looks murkier now than it did a month ago.

You missed a couple of pretty crafty layups.

Think he'll get better ...more games......more confidence ......strength training off season.

Refs and injuries early in the season were. Not friendly .

I see improvement

Slow but sure.

It looked fairly murky a month ago too.

Giannis is thin but moves slo mo out there.  He couldnt get by jeff green. His shot is shaky.  Danny made the right move imo

He saw something in KO lots of gms didnt. Again he wont be a star defender but could hold his own with a better body. Offensively he will keep getting better. Wicked passer for his height. Def at the level of marc gasol and KL

No argument there. That doesn't mean it couldn't get murkier!

Was a good game for him.  I wish he could do it more consistently.   He played well against LA too.   Might be a guy who gets up for West Coast games.

He's shot .500 (17-34) in the last four games, averaging 9 rebounds in 25 minutes of play. That's against some decent big-man competition, too. (SAS, SAC, MIL and DAL)

Forsberg has a great piece on how well KO's been playing:
