There are a lot of rumors/idea out there to mold this team's future. Theres Josh Smith for Green/Bass. Green for Carroll/1st round draft pick. Bass ideas. Rondo ideas. Wallace ideas. What do you think would be best for the future of the Celtics? Be reasonable.

Also, how many people would like to see Danny actually trade away the potential talent to lose and get a top 3 pick this year? I'm on the fence. from what It sounds like these players come around very rarely and you dont wanna miss out on another Lebron/Melo/Durant type player. I'm never for losing but this year is already gone and maybe we can salvage it by getting a potential superstar.

I think if they need to decide who they want to build with going forward.  Id like to see Rondo, Green, Sully and Hump stick around, maybe Chris too.  Trade the rest for picks and expiring contracts.

As to draft, this team needs to realize they arent making the playoffs or winning a title so I don't understand why they are winning.  We have a shot to land a possible franchise player with a top 5 pick and we are going to end up somewhere out of the lottery. If this happens, I see another 22 year drought.

i honestly don't know what will happen. i do think the guys that were reported to be on the block are indeed all on the block. As to whether a trade will go down though is a whole other issue. trades are hard. trades are risky.

The trade we never hear about until it's done.
I moved the cheese.

This. I'd probably say it's a safe bet Bass is involved though

Just posted this on another thread:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=k79r4av

Think it solves the Bass/green problem, gets Asik, plus the possibility of prying away Atlanta's first.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.
