A. Sherrod Blakely ‏@SherrodbCSN
#Celtics  Jared Sullinger and OKC's Kevin Durant Named NBA Eastern and Western Conf. Players of the Week for games played Feb. 3-9

gary washburn ‏@GwashburnGlobe
In three games, Sullinger averaged 20.3 points, 12.7 rebounds and 1.67 blocks for #celtics

Good for him! Now we hope he doesn't fall off like Crawford did after winning  ;D

david west 2.0 , if he can get his 3's up to 35% , and lose 15 lbs. just add a defensive center next to him and he will be an all-star caliber player.

Great news for Sully.  But has a team this bad ever had two different players named conference player of the week before?  Seems pretty unlikely, but it speaks very well to Stevens getting the most out of his players.

Let's trade him while he's at his peak!

Really does speak well of Stevens that he could get players that young and inexperienced to play so well as to nab POW honors.

Definitely.

But I just looked it up and it looks like MCW and Thad Young both won this year, so I guess it's more common than I thought  :)

Right. Stevens was so great that Sullinger needed a personal butt-kicking from his dad to start playing better. Please.

We could end the year with a third one too, because Rondo.

I think it's a mixture of Sully (obviously, he has to do the work), his Dad (lighting that fire), and Stevens (putting him in positions to succeed and also talking to him last week about how he can't play like a second yr player,he has to be smarter and better).

Not enough time before we trade him  :P

The real trifecta candidate is KO, provided we can figure out how to play the Lakers for a week straight.

I love Sully, but please don't forget...this Conference is horrible!

It's like being named the Tallest Midget in the room.

WOO HOO!  You're still 3 ft tall!!
