So many things could affect this. The big ones could be happening in the coming days with the trade deadline looming. However, I find myself constantly trying to figure where we are going to pick.

Are we really better than Philly, Utah, the Lakers, and Orlando? I think it's pretty clear that Milwaukee is in crash position, but coincidentally we are playing them tonight.

Anyway, just wanted to see where people are at on this topic with so many questions yet to be answered...

Who knows, I think we will be in the top 7.  I wish we were top three though but it is not in the stars.

Top 3 would obviously be incredible. Guarantees us one of Embiid, Parker, Wiggins. Even if Danny only wants Parker, a top 3 pick is a HUGE chip.

I can't see us "catching" ORL, PHI or MIL.

And, I think the likes of NYK/DET/NOP will pull away from us.

So, I think it's between us and SAC/UT/LAL/CLE for the 4th-8th spots.

CLE I think is in complete disarray and I have trouble seeing how we will be worse than them. That puts us no better than 5th.

The West teams all have scenarios in which they step up their play by the end of the year, but they are also in the West, where losing is easier.

Feels like a 6th/7th slot finish to me.

i picked #3 even if I think we'll finish with the 4th worst record in the league, behind milwaukee, philly and utah. may the odds be ever in our favor.

been predicting 7-11 since before the season started.  with Rondo back and the rest of the bottom feeders still stinking, this is probably where we'll end up.

a lot depends on what Danny does at the trade deadline.  if Green, Bass, Hump and/or AB are traded, that should drop us down in the standings

ORL and PHI have comparable talent IMO. So I think trades are going to be big in determining where we land relative to them. Trading both Bass and Hump would severely  deplete our front line.

If we end up starting Olynyk and Sully, I think we get a double benefit. These guys get the PT they need to work on their games and we have a very inexperienced PF/C duo which would make winning games difficult...

I think we can still get a top 3 pick base on probability. I mean, we don't necessarily need the WORST record or top 3 worst record to be guaranteed a top 3 pick. If 2007 taught us anything, that despite not having the worst of the worst record, you can still get the #1 pick.

But as most of you already said, Any pick between 1-3 is fine, so let's shoot for that. But personally, I am satisfied with a top 5

Orlando has just beaten OKC and Indiana back to back? They are playing very well at home. The C's just got their tails whipped against Dallas. It is my expectation that they continue to get whipped whenever they play a semi decent team. I'm not sure where they will pick, but they will be picking anywhere in the top 7 i believe.
