I do not follow college sports.   with that said, who in your opinion would be the Celtics best choice if they had the number one pick???
I have been hearing a lot of rattling about Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins but what about Joel Embiid???  this kid seems like everything this team needs right now. A 250 lb. 7 footer with a 7'4" wingspan and a pretty impressive highlight reel. problem is they very rarely show low light reels.  what are this kid's negatives that would not make him fit in with what the Celtics need.
From all the talk, Wiggins and Parker are obviously real good at what they do but they are both 6'8" and what the C's need more than anything is a big guy, so is he good enough???

all 3 are good. you can close your eyes and pick any of them with the top pick and youll come out looking good.

we need to keep losing, otherwise we wont have a shot at any of them.

Not necessarily. by now everyone on this blog knows I hate tanking because it can demoralize some of the younger players we have into thinking that losing is a good thing, and I think Ainge knows that, and for that reason, he will not go that route.  I believe Ainge grabbed all these draft picks for just this reason, to make a blockbuster trade with someone, along with some players and a bunch of these picks, after or during the draft. I BELEIVE DA IS GOING FOR IT ALL AT THE END OF THIS SEASON!!!

I disagree with the idea that the younger players will think that losing is a good thing. They are playing for their careers every night and they are told by the coach to play to win.

I think you are mischaracterizing 'tanking'. We already have 3 trades that were clear tank moves -- giving up on winning much this season for the sake of accumulating assets. This has all already occurred. The guys will still go out there and try to win. We are still not the worst team in the league, despite being pretty bad.

That is the state of the team. Throwing around the word 'tank' becomes meaningless after a while because it doesn't express what is really going on. It makes it sound like we are holding healthy guys out to purposefully lose games. That is not happening.
