If you wanted to assemble a "dream team" around Rondo, mine would look like this...

Rondo
Harden
Durant
James
Howard

Bench: Aldridge, Curry

Rondo needs shooters and the ball.   That is why I picked Larry he can shoot and rebound.   Their give and does would be epic.  Modern player would be Durant.

my dream starting five would have to be rondo, oj mayo, rudy gay, jsmoov, deandre jordan.  constant running on offense and rondo could throw lobs all day. of course id like rudy and smith to take a pay cut. embiid/parker/wiggins would also be welcomed with open arms here

My nightmare...

I'd rather follow an expansion team than that mess.

Nightmare, indeed.

Ugh that team gave me an ulcer just looking at it.

Why not Rondo / Hayward / Wiggins / Love / Asik?  It's more plausible and would be a better team

Because Hayward is shooting even worse than Bradley (but plays no defense) and would defiantely man the 2 spot on the "NBA All-Overrated team".

Secondly because Asik not only makes the "NBA All-Overrated Team", he'd have to be the captain of it.  His role in the NBA is as a rebounder and 'paint protector' and yet he's almost entirely incapable of blocking a shot.  He has a terrible attitude.  He has mediocre athleticism.  He has zero upside.  He is a horrendous offensive player.  His one single elite skill is rebounding, and thre are a TON of rebounding specialists out there that you could sign for much less. May as well just sign Brendon Haywood for the vet min...he'll do the same job.

Love and Wiggins are fair calls.

rondo oj rudy smoov and deandre are my favorite players in the league at their positions. are they the best? no but I like what each can bring to the table. I also wanted to have a semi realistic lineup as well because lets face it theres no way 5 max players could play on 1 team (rondo harden kd lebron and dwight). im also a big kevin love fan so I wouldnt mind having him instead of josh smith.
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

if im making a completely unrealistic lineup that could never happen it would be this:
rondo, jordan(early 90s), bird (early 80s), kg (in his prime in Minn), and bill Russell!!
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

OJ, Rudy, Josh Smith.... Three chuckers with low bball IQ on one team will not end well.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

I liked Chris' idea the other day.

Rondo
Bradley
Parker (Pierce at the MLE as a backup or starting)
J. Smith
