With Pau Gasol looking like a goner in LA, a number of draft-advocates in Celtic land are concerned the LAL will leapfrog the Celtics and a number of other lowly teams in the lottery standings. Will the return of a plethora of Laker point guards (Steve Nash, Steve Blake, Jordan Farmar) neutralize the potential departure of Gasol? Is this somehow good for pro-draft Cs fans?

Could a dream scenario of Nash returning and the Lakers failing to reach a deal with Phoenix be the dream scenario for pro-draft Cs fans? I can't see the Lakers out-tanking us with both Nash and Gasol back, especially considering the probability of Ainge moving at least one of Jeff Green, Bradley, Hump and Bass by the deadline.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

When's the last time you watched Steve Nash play basketball?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

If Steve Nash , gasol and Kobe are all healthy. And the celtics trade jeff green and bass. There's no doubt in my mind, we have a worst record then the lakers at seasons end.

I don't really understand the post.

But if you're saying that the Lakers will be just as good or are better off with Blake, Nash, and Farmar back to add to Harris and Marshall then I don't buy it. How are five pgs of this talent level equal to one of the games better all around offensive big men... Plus five point guards will do you nothing if they dont have Gasol to pass the ball too.
