The last 24 hours was a perfect example of how this season has turned me into an emotional teenage girl.

Quite frankly, I don't know what to feel anymore.

Our newly anointed Captain was having his best game back by far and showing glimpses of his all-star self in a tune of a 19 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals performance that led to a victory over the 2nd worst team, the Orlando Magic. The game got tight and every positive play the Celtics made, I cheered. Seems simple enough, right?

Just yesterday, I watched the Duke and Kansas games and watched promising teenagers named Jabbari Parker, Andrew Wiggins, and Joel Embiid who may or may not be wearing Celtic green next season. I know in my head that every Celtic loss puts us in that much better of a position to draft a possible cornerstone this summer.

Simply put, I check the scoreboard and don't know how to feel. I love my Celtics and want them to win every game they lace up their sneakers. I also know that a top pick would be a great piece to begin this rebuild.

I'm tired of cheering and crying at the same time. I want to win. I want to lose.

I want to know what the hell I'm rooting for.

Trust me I'm with you.  I was fine with winning when we were on a bit of a run, settled very well into losing a ton of games... and am still fine and thinking that way.  But the degree does matter here.

I can't watch a game and not root for our players to do well.  I just help they play well and we still lose.  Honestly, I would like a trade to lower the talent on the team so we can watch Rondo and Sully play well and still be bad.  As well as they can with less talent at least.

But I'm just riding this thing out.  Ups and downs, I'm just going to take them for what they are and go from there.  Trust me I'm dreaming of Embiid but I just can't say what would happen, even if we were the worst team.

In my opinion, loosing outweigh anything at this point.  Losing out on this draft would be the most hurtful thing.  There's nothing winning games can do for us at this point.  Absolutely nothing.  I love the fact that Rondo played his best game since returning but would've loved to lose this one.

I've chosen a side and that is to for the best pick possible and the only way we'll be able to do that is to lose and lose big

if you take a step back and look at things with some perspective and don't get caught up in wins and losses.

and just look at it this way - we could lose every game and still end up with a pick we don't deserve.

then you don't get emotional and become a teenage girl.

...I smell a direct tv commercial.

Root for the team to succeed at developing its next contender.  Since we clearly aren't there yet, do what I do and cheer for wins but keep a firm "que sera, sera" attitude about the season.  It's not like our rooting changes anything that happens.

Really, if you think losses also benefit the team, it's a win-win.  Wins are great but losses aren't so bad since they also help us.
