Brian Windhorst @WindhorstESPN The Pacers are planning to sign Andrew Bynum, sources told ESPN
In a way there's a certain amount of irony to the Pacers signing Bynum in order to combat the Heat's signing of Greg Oden.
I wonder if they are giving him more than the vet min, and how much guaranteed money.

Now Bynum wasn't all that as a starter anymore but I think this is big if he can change that attitude. Mia was already worried, if Bynum can act right and give them some good (heck give them what he did for Clev), Mia just cried!

Whatever people may think of him, he's only considered a bum by Boston and Philly fans--as a group, not really the nicest people in the universe. He's also got legitimate championship experience--that's something I suspect an organization like Indiana values pretty highly. And he can't seriously be looking for playing time in that front court.Super win for Indiana.

I never said he was a bum, but these are stated facts of why he's not with Cleveland and another reason why he's remained as a FA because teams question his willingness to play...that can mess up chemistry. But he can definitely helped in a limited role off the bench.
maybe they signed him as "thug insurance". His role is to take a player out in playoff games if/when needed, like he did to Barrea.
