Not sure what the deal would be between the Celtics and the Nuggets.  The Nuggets could use a wing scorer with Gallo out for the rest of the season, but what player on the Nuggets would the Celtics really want?  McGee?  No thanks.

I would dance around my house if we could get Andre Miller.

Even though I really want him to go to a team that'll go deep into the playoffs.

Andre Miller's 37. Why would you get excited about trading for him?

He's a good player. I'm guessing (s)he's a fan.

Kind of like how we'd have been stoked to get Gerald Wallace, I'm guessing, had it not been for all the crap that surrounded that trade.

He's a decent player, but he's near the end of the line and we aren't going anywhere this year. Would he even be on the team next year? Seems fairly pointless.

Yes, the point would basically be for them to get Green in this trade and for them to get rid of Miller, which does not help us a lot at all.

Even if we get a pick out of it unless it's the Knicks' pick which I doubt they'd throw it in.

Miller alone isn't enough for Green

I agree with this.  Posters are throwing various names of players on the Nuggets but there is nobody that is worth trading Green for unless it's Lawson and that's not going to happen.  If nice picks are included I would be willing to take back several combinations of junk.

The Nuggets do have NY's 1st round pick I'm pretty sure, which would definitely be a nice get for green combined with some kind of contract.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

Kenneth Faried and an expiring for Hump and Green. Give em Avery if they beg - he's gone as an RFA anyway and it'll help us lose a few more.

Read that last line again. One more time.

McGee's expiring, Evan Fournier and NY's first for Green+filler would sit just fine with me.

McGee isn't expiring, I think he has like 3 more after this season, he signed for like 40+m.

Whoever gave him that contract must be thinking the same thing.

Yeah, if McGee were an expiring, that would be a good deal.

I don't see the comparison between Miller and Wallace, other than that they're both old.  Miller can still play; Wallace can't.

I don't know how any Celtics fan could have been excited to get Wallace, when he's been in decline for four straight years and has a bad long-term contract.  I thought everyone basically saw his deal as the medicine we had to take to get three future Nets #1s.

Would have loved to have had Miller last year or the year before for our playoff run. Love his game. But at this point he wouldnt provide much for us and he wouldn't enjoy playing for a non contending team at this point.
