Pierce will always be a Celtic. I hope we give him a front office job when he retires.

Well, I hope he doesn't get a job that he isn't fit for.  I'm not entirely sure Pierce will be a guy who should be in a job requiring an understanding of how the salary cap works.  How will people feel if he turns into the Celtics version of Joe Dumars?

I have an amazing Paul Pierce story but it is beyond non board appropriate.

Regardless, stuff like this is what makes the difference in an NBA player and what makes Pierce so special to so many fans, myself included.
