Pick would likely headline the package with a combination of some other assets (Sullinger, Olynyk, Green, ect)

I have a lurking/wishing/based on nothing hunch that this plan is creeping in Danny's head as a way to put another star next to Rondo.

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Yes. But he needs to sign an extension first. I'd be willing to trade Green, Bass for him.

A non top 3 pick for one of the top 5 or so guys in the game? Still somewhat young? Gee. Let me think about it

if we have a shot at Embiid, Parker, Wiggins or Exum, I say no.  if they're gone, maybe, depends on what the rest of the package was.

I agree that it depends on how the draft shakes out/player available.

Sadly, I think Minny says no though

With Embiid, Parker, Wiggins or Exum still on the board... the rest of the deal would have to be heavily in our favour... heavily!
If they're all off the board, YES!
I'm a fan of K-Love's, but I'm just not sure he can carry a team to a championship and is therefore not worth giving up a top 4 player in this draft. With Rubio, Martin and Pek, they are struggling in a tough West. That line-up (on paper) should carry them to a top 6 seed comfortably though. The fact they've lost so many close games to me is an indicator he can't carry them.

I think Danny has this idea already going.. Dont rule out Aldridge if he cant extend in Portland.. but I see DA making 2 big moves to put a team together... 07 all over again but around Rondo instead of Pierce..

Love can only be a main piece of a championship surrounded by defensive studs to cover him just like Dirk in Mavs championship season. If we can find a player that can anchor the entire team defense, take him.

If we can't, I would prefer the Boogieman Cousins or LaMarcus Aldridge if they are available. Both are better overall players than Love.

Absolutely.  But the Wolves won't trade Love until they are certain that he won't resign with them.

Cousins just signed an extension... He would have been perfect

If he'll sign an extension, I'd do that even if the pick was in the top 3.
