I wish Pierce was in Boston, but oddly it doesn't bother me at all seeing he and KG in different uniforms.  Guess I really am rooting for laundry.

Jon Barry pointed out in the game that though Pierce was the mainstay in Boston, it was Kevin Garnett that changed the culture and hes the one responsible for bringing the title to Boston in '08.

I dont disagree with the point, but sometimes i feel it needs to be mentioned more often that despite all the wonderful things that KG brought to the Celtics in 2007-2008, he needed Paul Pierce, just as much as Pierce needed KG.

No way we win that title without Paul Pierce, we wouldve never made it past that game 7 against Cleveland without him.

I have to admit I got abit choked up watching that Pierce Tribute. and KG's as well.

made me remember all the good times I had watching those guys...and the garbage that we have on the court now

but hopefully that will change sooner rather than later and we can root for the next contending celtics team
