To Pistons: Asik, Rondo
To Houston: Green, Caldwell-Pope
To Celtics: Drummond, Lin

Reason Pistons does trade - They need Rondo. Josh Smith wants Rondo. Dumars wants Rondo.  Drummond will be hard to give up, but Asik would be a nice alternative

Reason Rockets does trade - Asik is done in Houston. They need to extract as much as possible before he is worth little soon. Rockets rather get Rondo, but Green adds firepower to their lineup. Caldwell-pope is a nice young shooter that could be on the same floor with Harden.

Reason Celtics does trade - Rondo clearly needs to be surrounded by talented players to be effective. This is not the stage of his career to be on a rebuilding team. It helps nobody. Drummond would be a serious piece to add for the future. There are some maturity issue to deal with, but the upside is high. Lin is not Rondo, but may work better with Stevens system. Pressey will also get an extended look to start on the team.  His play has been good as of late.

Detroit won't trade Drummond. They'd deal Josh Smith before they deal Drummond.

I Disagree. The Pistons are tired of losing. They already have Jennings and still can't win. Drummond imo has too much pressure to perform and could do better in a pure rebuilding environment like the Celtics.

Asik and Rondo would propel the Pistons to be the 4-6 best team in the east.

Any trade with Rondo coming in to Detroit doesn't make sense unless Jennings is moved out in my opinion.  I would be happy with a trade that sent out Rondo and got back Drummond though.

The Pistons would trade Greg Monroe and even Josh Smith long before they even considered trading Andre Drummond.

Drummond is going nowhere.

You could probably package Rondo with Wallace and take back Charlie V and Stuckey's expirings as well as a couple assets like Caldwell-Pope and a pick.

I would agree with this, but Dumars has been a complete idiot at times.

Maybe, just maybe, he panics and attempts to save his job by trading Drummond.
