He just dropped 35 in the D-League. Guy could score in college and looked good in NBA summer league. Never should of come out for the draft though.

Can't wait for someone to drop a "You're my boy blue!" during a broadcast.

From reading on Draft Express, it sounds like Vander Blue is an athletic combo guard whose best facet is his defense, but who hasn't shot well enough to be a shooting guard and isn't a good enough ball handler to be a good point guard.

Not a big fan of the signing. Blue to me is a taller AB with shorter wingspan.  He is a better finisher around the basket, but overall is a volume shooter for the good or the worse

Only for 10 days and i don't see him being resigned. AB injury must be more serious than we think. Danny will prob ask him to rest and see what he can get for him before the deadline

The big thing with Vander Blue is that he is 21 years old, so he has some upside.  However, I don't think he has the offensive upside to turn into anywhere near as good of a shooter as Avery Bradley.  He's a candidate for being signed to a couple of ten-day contracts and showing enough to get one of those "signed for the rest of the season plus some unguaranteed years" type of contracts where he stands a good chance of being cut or thrown into a trade this summer.

I'm a big fan of any signing that puts some warm bodies on the bench until our injuries heal. That's all this is.

It's just a ten day contract so I'm not sure how you can really dislike the signing. No expectations but this kid was a top 30 recruit coming out of high school and is only 21. He has some skills but like I said its a 10 day contract.
