It’s always good to see your little brother, man,” Garnett said before Thursday’s game. “I worry about his health. I know he wants to play. I know he wants to help that team. I try to keep an eye out for the young boys [in Boston], just to see how they’re doing.

Quote
Absolutely,” Garnett said when asked if Rondo being on the court will make his return to Boston mean even more. “That’s a little brother, man. We all grew together. When we grew, it wasn’t something we did minimally. We all gave all of ourselves to each other, and we grew in that. That connection, you grow with it through time, and it’s one of them connections that you look at as forever.

“That’s my little brother. I love Rondo. He knows that, and I would do anything for him. All in all, I’m just happy that he’s back, and I’m just happy he’s able to be healthy and continue to be able to do one of the things he does best.”

Next weekends game is going to be sooo emotional all around. It's good to hear that type of brotherhood from teammates.

I got choked up a bit reading that.  Out of the big three, you could always tell Rondo is closer to KG the most.

Yea baby, Swag is back!

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my

Stop. Just stop. He helped the Cs win a title. Remember him for that.

As for this topic, I loved how KG would bestow his knowledge of the game to players who were willing to take it in. Rondo always looked up to Garnett and replicated his tough demeanor. I love how he rubbed off on Sullinger, too. Now it's Rondo's turn to lead like KG did. Can't wait for the game when Brooklyn comes back to Boston. Ovations for Pierce and KG should be defeaning.

The fans owe PP one, he didn't really get one at the end of hs last game for some reason.

I wonder if KG feels the same way. And Rondo for that matter. Or Ainge or Doc or Pierce.
