Any lineup with Bradley leads to a lot of 18ft jumpers early in the clock.

Who else is going to take shots?

Pressey makes me really angry sometimes.

I really like how he passes the ball and how he runs the team ... but he is an lousy defender/rebounder, can't shoot from distance, can't finish the basket and is not a scoring threat. Too many negatives. Outweigh his positive contributions.

I hope he can add a jump-shot offensively and get stronger physically to aid him defensively. If he can add that to his game, he could be a solid backup PG in the NBA. But right now, Pressey just isn't ready for prime time.

Uh, Green? Sully?  Kell-O. Did I mention Green?

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Am I reading the box score right - Avery with 14 shots, Sully with just 1?

I don't mind if Bradley takes the shot, I just don't want him taking them with more than 8 seconds or so on the clock.  You can get an 18ft contested jumper at any time and they hardly ever lead to foul calls.

Exactly.  With Rondo, Bradley should be the 4th option at best.  No reason for him to always have twice as many FGA as everybody else.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

No reason for him EVER to take twice as many FGA as everyone else.

Based on the play-by-play, assuming the shot clock starts at the previous time stamp, so far in this game, made shots in bold:

1st quarter:
11:03 - 25-foot-three pointer with 3 seconds
7:59 - 20-foot jumper with 14 seconds
7:26 - lay-up attempt with with 19 seconds
5:58 - 23-foot three pointer with 19 seconds
2nd quarter:
10:18 - 18-foot jumper with 7 seconds left
8:45 - 21-foot jumper with 10 seconds left
8:12 - 20-foot jumper with 8 seconds left
6:45 - layup attempt with 23 seconds left
6:34 - 19-foot jumper with 14 seconds left
6:07 - 21-foot jumper with 10 seconds left
5:11 - 14-foot jumper with 13 seconds left
3:57 - 15-foot jumper with 6 seconds left
3:02 - 24-foot three pointer with 3 seconds
0:25 - lay-up attempt with 20 seconds left

A good shot with 15seconds left on the clock is different than a good shot with 5 seconds.

If Green has 1 shot in a half, people criticize him for not being aggressive.  If Sullinger had only one shot, maybe at least part of it is his fault.
