Nothing major, but this just happened:

Quote
Chicago is finalizing deal to send Marquis Teague to the Brooklyn Nets for forward Toko Shengelia, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Quote
Brooklyn is sending Tyshawn Taylor to New Orleans for a future pick and cash, sources tell Yahoo.

Quote
Clarification: Nets are sending Taylor to New Orleans with cash.

Could Williams be done for the year? Or in talks for a Trade? Or Just insurance for the season...

So is this good for Chicago? I'm not really sure what the Bull;s are doing but I imagine they are going to try and ride the tank train with the C's and look for a Noah trade.

My guess is just insurance.  Teague really didn't do much in Chicago.

Shuffling very minor assets.  Even less significant than the Crawford trade, from a league-wide perspective.

It's a pure salary dump for the Bulls.  Teague is a horrible player with a guaranteed contract for next season.  Shengelia is a smaller contract that expires this season.

Dumping Taylor represents a luxury tax savings for the Nets, but may end up clearing a roster spot to bring someone else in.

So it's:

Chicago trades Marquis Teague, receives Shengaila
Brooklyn trades Shengaila, Tyshawn Taylor, and cash; receives draft pick and Teague
New Orleans trades pick, receives Taylor and cash

??

Seems like the bubble finally burst on Teague. Chicago had rated him quite highly not long ago, IIRC.

Im a huge UK fan and when Marquis Teague announce he was leaving, I knew he was making a huge mistake..he should stay at least another year or two in college..he bounce back and forth in the NBDL and the Bulls and now who knows what his future holds..hopefully he will do good with the Nets but I doubt it

His numbers in D-League weren't all that good either - 12 points, 4 assists per game.

Funny thing is he is still only 20 years old.
