He only played a few minutes but was pretty efficient. I'm still bummed Danny didn't sign him.

At worse, you can waive him if he doesn't pan out.

What will last longer - Oden's comeback or this thread staying on the latest topics?  Place your bets!

I'm betting on the latter :D

Seriously though, I'm glad he's doing well in a short while despite playing for the heat. I hope he doesn't re-injure himself again.

I understand he shot 67%, but I don't think 2-3 in garbage time is much to brag about in terms of efficiency.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Small size sample but we all know what he can do if he is healthy. Unlike Bynum, he wants to prove that he can still play.

which he isnt. and unless his knees suddenly become stronger and better he will continue to reinjure them and not play.

good for oden that he finally got to play in a game after all this time. let's see if he can hold up under real game conditions now.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I would have liked the Celtics to sign him just because I really enjoy watching him and rooting for him.  I did not want to sign him because I thought he would help the team.  I think he is in a great situation in Miami.  Maybe he can play a small part in a championship.  Then all the rehab will be justified in his mind.
