Probably, for the short term.  I strongly suspect Danny's got one more move in him prior to the deadline, but for now, this guy might be here just for insurance in case of injury.

I like the signing. The one position in the NBA where prospects seem to come out of the D-league or Europe in their mid 20s and find a niche is the 3 and D wing. The spurs have found a few of them and they become valuable members of their team.

Johnsons seems to have the making of a solid 3 and D player. This rosters void on the wings may leave room for him to earn some minutes. Lets hope he makes the most of it.

Tough to compare anyones system to what the Spurs have. They could place me in their rotation and I might have a chance at producing. Great franchise top to bottom including management and especially coaching.

I agree its tough to compare with the spurs but I have high hope for Stevens as a player developer. The point I'm trying to make is guys who are NBA level athletes who are 6'5-6'7 can hit a corner 3 and are willing defenders are attainable. They just need to be developed.
