not to turn this into a tank vs. non tank thing.

i'd feel better about losing if we were losing being competitive rather than losing because we completely suck or that we were trying to suck.

Good news the C's have been very competitive and have overall (one or two exceptions like the Denver game) the team has been busting their butts trying to win.

Yea, we've been competitive but we still suck and we're designed to suck

Noticed last night that we're now tied with Utah.

Utah has played a LOT better with Trey Burke in the lineup, though.  Imagine that -- having a real PG makes your team a lot better!

while I do think our players are playing hard. I really feel we haven't been competitive. not during this stretch at least. the scores reflect this.

I know everyone seems to think rondo won't help as much as I believe he will. but I think our inability to compete right now is squarely on our pg play.

Crawford in particular(not sure if I've stated this enough) is either putting us in a hole or putting us deeper in a hole or both.

how many times has it been stated by anyone who watches the C's night in, night out that this team is better when jeff green gets the ball early and often? well since this bad stretch I can vaguely remember him getting the ball early n' often maybe once.

why isn't he getting the ball early n' often? because 9 times out of 10 Crawford already has 5 - 6 shots before green has even had a pass his way.

Crawford has killed the chemistry of this team and needs to ride the pine.

sure sully has been injured as well(if you want to use that excuse) but injuries are just an excuse not a reason. if he's injured that should mean more opportunity for others to step up and they can't because we got 1 guy taking it all on himself....I guess we did get carmello without even trading for him.

rondo will help this team simply by not being Crawford.

I think our biggest problems are 1.) big man defense and 2.) lack of an elite player/scorer.  I would put PG play at 3rd and it is a pretty big problem in of itself.

we still managed to put together a stretch of wins with no big man defense. the only difference was our pg play during that stretch.

pg play is THE biggest reason for this stretch of bad play.

Our defense was top 10 for much of this year, now its fallen all the way to 16th.

Our defense has degraded far more than our offense. Also the C's have been competitive, we've played and lost in multiple one possession games during this losing streak.

our poor offense has effected our defense. I forget what team it was on that west coast trip but didn't we turn it over like 6 times in a row at one point? that lead to fastbreak pts for the other team?
