Assuming both players end up in the $8-10mill range.

Avery Bradley- (23 yrs old)- 14 points, 1 assist, 4 rebounds, 45% FG, 40% 3pt

Lance Stephenson (23 yrs old)- 13 points, 5 assists, 7 rebounds, 50%FG, 36% 3pt
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Lance Stephenson because he was born ready.

Stephenson at that price.

If you drop Bradley down several pay rungs like I believe he'll end up, then I think its more of a toss up.

Probably still Bradley, I'd rather not committ major money to Stephenson type player when then C's are in rebuilding mode.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Lance Stephenson because he was born ready.

tru dat. TP lol.

Stephenson has the potential to be a superstar. Bradley doesn't.
I'd give Stephenson up to 12 million.
If he took more shots in Indiana he'd probably be an All Star.

Read that last line again. One more time.

Fair point.

Going with a cheaper Bradley (say $26mill/4 years) vs Stephenson at $40mill/4 years, does it make the decision easier?

I'd probably go Bradley in that instance.

What if you could get Lance at $32mill/4 years?

Not trying to keep going back and forth, but Lance is an UFA and I think he's a realistic target depending on what Bradley demands.

I suspect Bradley might be the better fit next to Rondo, due to being better able to compensate for Rondo's perimeter shooting.

Lance Stephenson for me. Has such an all round game and could develop into something awesome. Anybody Larry Bird is that persistent with I would have happily

Stephenson is better right now, but Bradley might catch up with him at some point.  I think they're probably comparable in value.

So I'd sign whoever is cheapest.

Wasn't Stevenson suspended his rookie season for throw his girlfriend down a flight of stairs?

AB is a hard working , good character guy. Stevens is a better offensive player, AB is a stud on defense.

I would go with AB,I think he will be signed around 8 mil , while Stevenson will get around 10mil.

Neither at those prices.

I don't want the Celtics to spend that type of money on the complimentary pieces until the star core is in place.  (with an exception possible for a starting quality C)

I agree.  Get the star first, then find the right guys to put around him.

I agree, and if that's the case, then why not just trad AB. This year before he hits free agency

Bos sends: Hump and AB
Hou sends: Asik

C's get their starting center(only counts 8 mil against the cap). You can then use a pick i n 2014 draft to take a SG.

Bradley fits perfect next to Harden, makes houston better
